We are proud to announce that we are one of the first and the largest practice in New England to offer the best toenail fungus treatment yet, the PinPointe™ Footlaser™. This great new laser treatment for chronic toenail fungus has become one of the easiest and most effective ways to treat this unsightly disease. We provide this toenail fungus treatment in our offices in Fairfield, Greenwich and North Haven, Connecticut.

We even had one lady drive from Montreal Canada. We have performed thousands of procedures over the past few years. We have the lasers on site so there is no need to go to a tertiary facility or wait for a tech to come to office. Our trained doctors operate the lasers themselves for a drug-free way to help eliminate nail fungus.

In the past few years we have seen great improvements on our patient's nails that have been treated with the PinPointe™ FootLaser™. It has been fascinating for not only our patients, but for us, as doctors to see results emerge just three months after the procedure. Take a look at these before and after pictures of one of our patient's nails three months after the laser treatment.‍‍‍

HOW DOES THE PINPOINTE™ FOOTLASER™ WORK?
The PinPointe™ FootLaser™ is a great new treatment for toenail fungal infections that has become widely accepted in the community and now has FDA clearance. It kills the fungus that lives in and under the toenail. The laser light passes through the toenail without causing damage to the nail or the surrounding skin. However, the toenail will not become instantly clear, for it takes time to grow out.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE LASER?
During the procedure, the pathogens that cause toenail fungus are targeted, allowing the new nail to grow in healthy and clear. Unlike some medication-driven treatments for toenail fungus, the laser presents no side effects, and it is a great alternative for many patients who cannot or do not want to take oral medications. It is completely Safe with no pain.

IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
Most people feel minimal pain. Some people feel a warming sensation and very few feel a pinprick.

IS THERE A RECOVERY PERIOD?
No. The PinPointe™ laser treats patients in a single session by just walking in and walking out.

HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE?
The impulse laser procedure takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

DOES IT REALLY WORK?
Clinical studies to date reveal that over 60% - 65% of treated patients for toenail fungal infections show significant improvement. In many cases, fungus infected nails are completely cured.

WILL THE FUNGUS COME BACK?
The fungus is killed after one treatment and typically the doctor recommends care techniques to reduce recurrence of the infection. There is a chance of reinfection because the fungus is present everywhere in the environment.

WHEN CAN I PAINT MY NAILS OR HAVE A PEDICURE?
You can apply nail polish immediately after the treatment. It is important to remove all nail polish and nail decorations the day before your treatment.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE TREATMENT?
Credit cards, cash and money orders are all accepted. You may also use your Medical IRA, Health Savings or Flexible Spending Account. The usual fee for this procedure is $1,200-$1,500 regardless of the number of nails being treated. We have made the process more affordable by charging $675 for one nail, $775 for two nails and $975 for three or more nails up to all ten nails. If a second treatment is needed, there is a 50% reduction in the fee.  These fees are current as of 2016-2017 but can be changed at any time without notice.

IS THIS COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?
At this time there is no company that covers the PinPointe laser procedure because it is considered to be aesthetic. However, if you have a Health Savings Account or Medical IRA, 100% of the cost can be covered.

WHO DEVELOPED THIS LASER PROCEDURE?
Leading scientists and medical professionals working together for 20 years with funding provided by the National Institutes of Health developed the technology in the patented PinPointe™ FootLaser™.

IS IT FDA CLEARED?
